The ancient ruins of Daskow - now generally called "Vergessen Daskow" - sit at the very end of Highway 56. It is located at the southeastern most point of the country. This ancient city, once a large and thriving place, now only houses old building that are crumbling and falling apart. The legend that surrounds Daskow has it that a tribe of Keinemann came into the city, and burned everything down. Most of it's inhabitants were caught in the unfortunate fire, and the few that managed to survive fled.
No one lives in this forgotten city except wildlife and feral cats and dogs. Society has actually put a ban on the city, requiring everyone to stay as far away from Daskow as possible. Military personnel are the only ones who may still visit the ancient ruins, usually to ensure that Keinemann aren't hiding in the old city. Likewise, the wildlife that have moved in have made the city much too dangerous to venture into.
Wild primates, canines, and large cats have moved into the ancient ruins. Among the cats, jaguars and lions are most prevalent, along with Wild Painted Dogs and Wolves. Deer and elk are also common, as well as various types of birds including various birds of prey, and smaller species of mammals and marsupials. Many of the wildlife use the ancient buildings as shelter and refuge, especially from the elements.
